Fight the New Year Blues

January is almost in the books. How are you feeling about the start of this brand new year? Has it lived up to your expectations? Are you energized and excited about the next 11 months of opportunity that are in front of you? If you answered "yes!" bravo.

For the rest of us normal folks, however, January can be a rough month. I see it every day!

People feel let down, tired, and just “over it" and honestly, the weather in many parts of the country does not help! But, since there is nothing we can do about the weather, it is up to you to make the choice to snap out of any funk you might be feeling.

The key to being energetic and having your life and business work the way you want them to is YOU. Your commitment to having a plan that keeps you on track will make all the difference in your business and your life.

You have heard this from me a thousand times, and there's a reason for it... it works! Yes, planning takes time, and there are moments when creating a plan that you might have to face a reality you've been avoiding. But, wouldn't you rather do that on paper and be clear about what's ahead rather than live by the seat of your pants and constantly be surprised by what gets thrown at you? Planning does not have to be hard. You don’t even have to follow a certain format or have all the answers. Just get clear about what you do want, write your plan accordingly, ask your team to hold you accountable (and your coach too!), and go for it!

Remember: You are the only person who has a say in how your life turns out! If you want this year to be outrageous and fun, you have to have a plan that puts you on the path to it being that way.

So, what are you waiting for?

P.S. It’s true that you don’t have to follow a certain format to make a plan for the year, but if you want one, check out my Accountability Workbook!
