Seize the Day - Just a Thought

If the calendar hadn’t clued me into what is looming around the corner, the sporadic snowflakes flying around yesterday in Bozeman would have! The fourth quarter of the year is upon us, and it is time to get focused on ending this year powerfully and gearing up for the new year; seize the day for the opportunities in front of you now and get your plan in order for 2017.Start by looking at where you’ve been, what you’ve accomplished, and what you haven’t accomplished , and what you still want to accomplish in 2016. It is important while in this process, however, to not make excuses to put things off until the new year. But, "If it hasn’t gotten done by this point in the year, it isn’t going to. So, why bother, right???" Um, think again!There are almost 3 months until January 1, and for every moment you put off doing what you said you were going to accomplish in 2016, you miss a moment of opportunity. You miss opportunities to grow personally and financially. You miss opportunities to learn what you don’t know. You miss the chance to teach and make a difference for others.You miss out on the fun that awaits you, and one thing I’ve learned is to not waste a day, a moment, or even a breath. Our time here on this planet is a gift. Don’t waste it!
